If I could show you how to pay for government without any debt or any form of taxation what would you say?

Remember. I just said, if I could show you a way to pay for government without either debt or taxes, what would you say? Not a hypothetical but a in black and white situation here. There are people who think they must pay taxes and that Democrats and Republicans must spend money like a crack addict looking for a fix in order to have the government services we have. There used to be people who thought that the wind would sheer the skin off of your face going 40 mph down the road in one of Henry Ford's automobiles. There will always be those who say this is impossible. Until they see it happening. But who cares what they would say. What do you say?

Do you want to continue paying higher and higher taxes when there is a way out? Do you want to continue stealing money from the next generations to pay for our own fiscal irresponsibility? Or would you rather see all public debt eliminated and see all forms of taxation reduced systematically and still have government paid for?

I would say, "Great! How the heck do we get enough people behind the idea to implement it?".

The US govt. didn't have income tax until after 1913 when the 16th amendment was snuk in. The American people were doing fine without income taxes for about a hundred years, and America was founded as a revolt to taxation (Boston Tea Party).

Of course, it can be done without taxation. It is called pay-per-service, where you get the services you need when you pay, and don't get services when you don't pay. Just like cable and satellite TV. The same thing can be applied to security, health-care, and roads and transportation. Everything that the government does, can be done better if privatised, without taxes.

i'm intrigued and would love to know how. So yes, if you can show me how we can do it *and* still have the same services we have today.

Now bare in mind, I mean that those services that are in place to assist people who have little to contribute now.
Wasn't it the horrific living conditions of the 1st part of our century that contributed to taxation? And social programs?

OK you want to cite The 16th amendment and that was in 1913, times have changed..to keep this country where we are it will require for us to pay taxes..I lived in an area that had toll roads and I didn't like it..it's just some more libertarian propaganda

And are you going to provide an answer, or just BS like most politicians do? Or do I have to pay 4 easy installments of $29.95 to get my "free" CD of how to get the Gov't off my back?
