If Obama promised he would bring the troops home, eliminate Washington insiders, reduce the US debt, and lower taxes for the middle class, would you be gullible enough to vote for him?
Apparently 54% of Americans were foolish enough to swallow his BS. Why?
I didn’t. But I think it was a combination of things … I personally know a handful of people who voted for Obama and regret it now … but people are still eating out of his hand … so I honestly can’t explain it.

First of all, the US is not a dictatorship (anymore after Bush left office), so Obama does not have complete control over government legislation. Next, he has a plan for bringing troops home. I think that Republicans would have been very upset if he pulled all of the troops out immediately. Seems like he’s damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t. The economy is showing signs of improvement after Bush, Inc. destroyed it. I’m a middle class worker, and my taxes have decreased under Obama. I voted for him, and I’m very proud of the job he’s done so far despite people like you who are hoping that he fails. Polls show that the US is respected worldwide again after Bush, Inc. trashed our reputation. Let’s let him finish this historical term and then his second term and let history be the judge. So far, so good.

I believed him and still didn’t vote for him. I saw how much money was backing him. I saw how much support he was getting from TMZ, Oprah, VH1 and MTV. I figured that we were in big trouble if someone was having that much financial support.
