The Internal Revenue Service is easing its rules on property tax liens and giving delinquent taxpayers more opportunities to pay their tax bill. Higher tax debt minimums can be implemented for both the tax lien process and offer-in-compromise agreements. Withdrawing, rather than releasing tax liens will even help to protect taxpayer credit states.
